“WAIT combines the impressive technicality of latter-day Death with a melodic, modern palette that often feels djentier and spacier, if no less thrilling,” says MetalSucks. “And while Eron may not be a household name in the metal community yet, his bandmates most certainly are…”
The band features death metal veterans Max Phelps (Exist, Death To All, Defeated Sanity, ex-Cynic), bassist Alex Weber (Exist, Defeated Sanity) and drummer Anup Sastry (Jeff Loomis, ex-Intervals, ex-Monuments, ex-Skyharbor), along with Eron on guitar.
Recorded, mixed and mastered by Sastry while the band was on tour with their respective main projects, WAIT’s debut EP We Are In Transit is seeing release on July 12 via The Artisan Era.
“All of the solos were improvised, and the playthrough features guest soloist Jon Epley on guitar,” says Eron. “So happy to have this out there. We are now in transit!”
