PERFECT DEFECT Debuts New Music Video “Treat Your Man”

Hard rock band PERFECT DEFECT has released a new music video for “Treat Your Man”. Their self-titled debut was released via Sonic Night Music Club and is in stores now.

New Southern Hard Rock band PERFECT DEFECT’s debut reflects a deep trip through a vinyl album collection of both laidback and down and dirty tracks. The band combines unequal parts hard rock, blues, and country to create something new yet familiar.

The album’s loose grooves were achieved by recording the rhythm tracks (drums, bass, guitar) live in single takes with no overdubs. Then, the guitar solos and vocals were added to complete the feel of being right there. PERFECT DEFECT deftly move from rockers like “Rollin’ With G” and “Bad Girls” to the bluesy “Ultra Blue” and Southern-infused tracks like “Treat Your Man” and “Used To Believe” on a journey through deep album tracks.

“A mixture of Guns’N Roses, Tesla, Bad Company and Gary Moore…fans of this kind of music can purchase this one blindfolded and will discover some great musicians” Stefan, Metal To Infinity

“The band fuses blues, country and hard rock with exceptional talent, 9 hook-filled tunes. A pretty rocking record” – David LaDuke, Ball Buster Music

“The production is tasty and gives all the men more than enough space to display their talents. Singer Gary Brown has a nice and raw voice…guitarist Mitch Bernstein also deserves an honorable mention for his pleasant riffs and solos. This is a nice sounding album… (and) a nice addition to your collection.” – Lords of Metal

Fans of Pearl Jam will hear nods to that band’s “Even Flow” here in opening cut “Rollin’ with G” but overall, with earthy cuts like “Treat Your Man,” “My People” and “Tease Me,” Perfect Defect lean toward the classic southern rock sound as defined by acts like Molly Hatchet, 38 Special and Blackfoot. “Bad Girls” is the hardest rocker of the lot but this foursome also sounds great when they stretch out with some blues as they do on “Ultra Blue.” – Kevin Wierzbicki, Rockpile
