UK Gothic Metal / Hard Rock band Lesbian Bed Death have released a brand-new music video for their latest single, Fury. This is the first track to feature their new lead singer, Adele De’Ath who joined LBD in July last year, and sees the band exploring a darker theme, whilst still retaining their gothic rock roots.
Talking about the concept behind Fury which is inspired by The Five Stages Of Grief by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross and David Kessler, Adele De’Ath comments,
“I wrote the lyrics to Fury in my bedroom on a miserable Tuesday night. I’d closed the door on my day and sat on my own reflecting on my past. I soon recognised that my own grief had been manifesting as anger for many years. She was angered by the suppression. She wanted to be heard. She wanted to be called by her real name.”
The video was directed by Jason Weidner (who also directed Lesbian Bed Death’s popular Son Of A Thousand Maniacs video), with cinematography by Urs Robbe. Fans have been quick to support Fury as the video reached a thousand views in just a day.
