The lights go down, and I mean REALLY down.

I wonder if there is something wrong with the setting or if there is a power outage at Beta2300, until I find out that this is the lighting MORILD has requested.

And it makes a lot of sense when the band begins to play. They certainly integrate the setting and make the darkness of the venue a part of their dark act.

Intimate, dark and powerful.

This is a band who know what they want, and they seem true to themselves and keep walking the path they started.

The crowd seems to be pleased as the front of the stage is full of people looking down at the floor, emotional and feeling the atmosphere, banging their heads and feeling the emotions from the band, and especially from the singer who is really “in the moment” with every song performed.

Morild has a grip of the audience I have rarely seen.

It is so amazing to see how the whole band and performance almost get the audience in a magical state of “trance”, and the musicality of the five members is close to perfect.

That the lyrics are in Danish makes it even more spectacular, as I have heard other metal bands do the same, but not nearly as authentic and truthful.

This is a band I would love to see live again, and I recommend you readers do the same
