LOGJAM PRESENTS!
Amerikkant Tour – @ The Wilma
The politically-charged new album AmeriKKKant was written and produced by the band’s provocateur-in-chief Al Jourgensen…nine tracks linked as one continuous piece of music….topics rooted in Jourgensen’s unadulterated rage for what’s happening in America today…waning respect for the U.S. Constitution… growing acceptance of one’s opinions replacing facts…the sexual abuse and disrespect of women…and the toxicity generated by the man in the White House. Please check out the first single, “Antifa,” HERE
Jourgensen is “P.T.-Barnum-meets-Rage-Against-The-Machine.” He’s a voracious reader, wired into the national and global news, articulate on topics like American history, alien conspiracies and most Chicago sports teams, and a big fan of astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. Balance this with Uncle Al’s ringmaster-style, both recorded and live-in-concert…his upcoming tour will feature giant inflatable Trump chickens, and video screens projecting equally politically-imbued images to compliment the music (as well as having local voter organizations on site to register new voters) – and his AmeriKKKant project is going to be a wild ride.
