Labyrinth is one the longest and most consistent bands in the Italian Power Metal scene that started popping up in the middle of the 1990s. After a seven year hiatus, they return with an album that features all the trademarks that made them stand out in a very crowded scene. With Architecture of a God, they return with some the best songs they’ve written for quite some time, and the return of vocalist Roberto Tiranti adds to the excitement.

Their combination of power metal and more progressive and symphonic parts works very well on all of the new songs. I am sure that if you adored their earlier efforts you’ll be very pleased with this album as well.

Not much else to say, as this is as current and as vibrant as ever. Labyrinth do not leave the path they chose so long ago, but what they do they do very well!

When I kicked this site off back in 2003, I had no idea that it would turn into what it has become. I am very proud of what we've done and achieved over the years. Musically I have a soft spot for 80s inspired hard rock, but my favourite music and bands are all to be found in the progressive universe these days.
