This is metal! Pure and simple honest heavy metal from a bunch of guys from Fayetteville, Arkansas - must be first metal band I ever come across from Arkansas - but don't hold that against them...

Storm the Castle! knows the importance of a good metal riff, this demo CD is filled with cool metal riffs, nice melodic twin rhythm attacks and fine leads. I am pretty sure they don't take their music too serious, just take a look at some the song titles: "Firebreathing Sympathy Machine", "Lost in Goddamazon" and "The Day Roscoe got his Big Boy Britches" - nice with a healthy splash of humor.

Storm the Castle!'s first demo is not groundbreaking, the sound could be a whole lot better, but this is a demo - nobody is expecting a state-of-the-art production. The guitars stand out on this album, I am not too keen on the vocals and the drums and bass disappear in the production. But who cares, this is just a band trying to present their music to the public!

If this have caught you attention, then check out their site... they have a second demo in the making...
