2 new songs from Danish based melodic metal band Melodic Meltdown, and
even though this is not much to go by I must admit, that this is a
big step forward compared to "Second Skin", everything is
just a tad better. Both songs are catchy rock orientated songs, and
Michael Sobygge has changed the complete supporting cast for this
demo, a wise decision I think. New vocalist Jacob Froberg fits the
music very good, and his style is better suited for this kind of
music than his predecessor Lars Benderup. The production is also
better, not great, but OK, and the drums and bass are more up-front
on this demo. I really like this direction they've taken with these 2 songs, and hope
they’ll continue down this path in the future. |
