Event
Horizon X are a Greek Power Metal band, their music combines influences
from various bands like Blind Guardian, Iced Earth and Virgin Steele.
“Far across the Wasteland” is the third CD from Event Horizon X, the
first one “Fall of Darkness” was released in 2003 and the second one
“Along Came the winter” in 2004. Event
Horizon X is a one-man band Michael Rinakaris does everything himself
playing the drums, guitars, bass and doing the vocals, he writes all the
lyrics, he has produced the album, done all the artwork and
even directed the bonus video “Setting Free the Damned”. Respect. The
CD consists of eight tracks and when you are listening to metal anthems
like “Sailing Away”, “Leaving Behind (Archon)” or “Far across
the Wasteland” you’ll beg for more. Hopefully
the next album will be a lot longer than the 31 minutes “Far across
the Wasteland” lasts. |
