2nd release from Canadian band Heaven's Cry is by no means an easy meal to digest! After 10 spins in my CD-player I was still bewildered about this CD - so I gave it 5 more spins.

Using no less than 2 vocalists and 3 guitarists makes this album very complex and intense. I don't know if it's the water in Canada, but like other Canadian bands (VoiVod & Rush) Heaven's Cry is very unique and amazing, off course there's references to other great progressive metal bands like Pain Of Salvation, Psychotic Waltz and Dream Theater, but also add some progressive rock, AOR and you have a blend called: Heaven's Cry.

All 10 of their own tracks are progressive masterpieces, but my favorites are: "Komma" and "Divisions" - 2 excellent tracks.

To finish the CD off is a good cover-version of Midnight Oil's "Beds Are Burning", which really doesn't fit the bill. To all fans of complex progressive metal I urge you to get this album, because there's so much quality and the album is a real challenge.....
