U.D.O. The things that
could be said after these three letters are many! However the band itself
always has something new for its fans and strikes with the most
uncompromising heavy metal you could imagine.
Udo continues to
have the last word. 12 new compositions
that besides the inimitable style hide a new charge of fury. Two of them - „Mystery“ and „Rebels of the Night“ could enter the
pages of a textbook of thrash metal for beginners. Exactly the aggression
has always been basic means of expression in the works of U.D.O. and
particularly of Udo Dirkschneider. The social
charge, which message is carried by the album „Decadent“, absorbed
this fury to express our indignation against the contemporary economical
disproportions and the non-sense of the imposed system of values.
From
its beginning the album caught our attention with the dynamic „Speeder“. The diverse as
rhythms compositions do not leave us to get bored or to rest. The only
ballad is well balanced between the tender sound and the metal beginning.
The final composition takes down the tone and invites to a new listening of
the album.
As
in the most of the albums of „Decadent“ is a traveling of
the band to itself. The application the value of the recording to grow with
the time is serious, but this is the fortune of the real metal pearls.
