This
album consists for a big part of old stuff from one of their first demo and an
EP called 'Sultry Obsession' (1990). The newly recorded songs were
produced by Dan Swanö so it sounds good.
What you hear is old school death metal in the vein of Benediction, Pestilence,
Carcass, Morbid Angel and Entombed. Nothing more and nothing less. I don't think
this French band will bring a shock in the heavy metal scene. We have heard it
all before in the nineties and sometimes better. Nevertheless I think that this
is something old school death metal fans will certainly like. On top of that
they put 3 cover songs on this album and I must admit that the versions are
quite o.k. I'm not going to tell you which bands they cover, you should know
that by reading the tracklist.
Interesting stuff for old school death metal fans.
