Six friends getting together to create a band, a real band not just "another" super-group! But the general feel among heavy metal fans are often when well-known members of the metal community join forces to make an album that they are just in it for the money and they will never perform live on stage and album number two will never, ever be released...

Only time will tell how Serious Black, yes I think they have taken their name after a Harry Potter character, will handle the big task to convince the metal fans that they are a serious band to be reckoned with... because we are dealing with "who's who" in European Power Metal. But thankfully they have delivered a very strong album to back their claims with.

From start to finish they are delivering first class European Power Metal the classic way: fast pounding drums, razor-sharp guitar riffs, brilliant leads and harmonies, a rock solid rhythm foundation and above the rest; an outstanding vocalist firing on all cylinders!

So what more can you ask for if you are into power metal? Nothing I'd say, and if you love this kind of metal then make sure you pick this album up now! A sure genre highlight of 2015, and a real nice way to kick the year off with.
