In July 2012 I reviewed the album "Icarus". On that album there was a complete new line-up with only old member Leif Jensen as leader. Now 3 years later a new album with the same line-up called "Intermination" is ready. The songs on the 2012 album were written by Marvin Vriesde and Leif, but this time it is more a band effort. Rory Hansen (guitar) and  Joost van der Graaf (bass) also wrote a few songs.

The music on the album is still devastating thrash and they keep the speed up tempo in almost every song. If you are a real headbanger, there will not be a resting point. One of the biggest influences you can find back in Dew Scented's music is of course Slayer. In a lot of songs there are riffs reminding of them, just listen to "Demon Seed" for instance. On the other hand there are enough elements that makes Dew Scented different from the lot. There is not a lot more to tell you about this new release, just that it is again a good thrash album, one that fits in their assortment and that will sure make every thrash fan happy. Fine music executed by skilled musicians!

I end with the same question I ended my review back in 2012. Does anyone know why all Dew Scented album titles start with the character: I ?
