When

BLACK SHEEP WALL are a band that
forges its style since 2006. And this is
their third full length album recorded as quartet. The non-compromising
sharp guitar sound and their pure original style set them amongst the bands
that can most precisely define the sludge metal. BURNSRED is the closest
name with which I can compare them. This is a comparison only for the
maniacs of the gender! The slow rhythms, the informational loaded sound,
the aggressive vocals, and the complex rhythms in the long compositions
dominate the works of the Americans. While such bands often carry the
etiquettes with an affix “post” and this definition became a synonym of
non-metal such definitions are not suitable here. We can only say that as
the anti-pop mood is in the genesis of the sludge metal, BLACK SHEEP WALL is a bearer of a post-fast culture. The rich and live sense from the dense
non-sterilized sound of contemporary recording is left in the album. The
soft psychadelic moods that also are characteristic for
the gender persist here in a perfect dose. The heaviness of the guitars and
the deep harsh vocal determine the pure themes of this music. музика.
The
lack of stoner influences and catchy post acoustics are the easier way for defining the style
of BLACK SHEEP WALL. The rest is pure sludge metal with
self-restricted in their own means of expression wealth of ideas. The band
does not want to impose you a message. It wants you to be able to find it
by yourselves (Not literally!).
