like it. Simple as that.
With their self-entitled EP, French Antigone Project conjure up a true spirit of 1980s electronic pop rock - with a heavy dose of goth feel. Just like we have seen a zillion bands attempting to capture the feel of thrash from the 80s and 90s, heavy rock from the 70s and 80s etc. the past few years, it can come as no surprise that other genres of music make the same attempts. Antigone Project have made a perfect pastiche of the sound of dark pop music anno 1980. Think Depeche Mode, Joy Division and The Cure.
Listening tip: Egolist. Wonderful, moody tune.
