Italian Twilight Zone was formed in January 1993 by Stefano Giusti (bass & vocals). A nice name for a metal band, but not an ideal name to find something about the band on the internet.... The band recorded 1 demo tape and 3 demo CD's since then and now they have finally released their debut album. If I didn't know that this album was brand new, I would have thought that it was recorded somewhere in the mid eighties. Not only their style of music has some early eighties American (speed) metal influences, but also the production has that sound.

The music sounds like over the top Iron Maiden songs with some high pitched rather false sounding vocals. They make me think a bit of Omen, Liege Lord (but then slower and not as good) and the band Cauldron Born. I constantly think that I'm listening to a demo because I know several bands that have a demo out that even sounds a lot better. I advice them to go back in their rehearsal room, write some better songs and then hire a good producer and perhaps work on the vocals as well.

Even after more than 20 years existence, this release seems to come too early for this band.
