The (good) thrash bands hailing from the U.K. can be counted on one hand. One that definitely needs to be added is Shrapnel. Like alll New Wave of Thrash bands they don't do anything different then their big influences from the eigthies. I don't think there will be a single original riff or solo, but because of the variety in songs and not only copying one band, but using influences from a lot of different bands, this is an album I like.

I think you can compare them a little with another new thrash band, namely Warbringer. The musicians are all technically well skilled and the soli are sharp and melodic also the singer controls the thrash style in perfection. A line with Destruction can be heard in "22", Slayer in "The Virus Inspires", Exodus in "Braindead", "Kingdom Come", "Poison the Mind" and in "Titan" and "Dead Terror" a band like Death Angel is never far away. Actually there are a lot more bands that need to be added, for example Testament, Megadeth, Metallica, Annihilator, Onslaught, Forbidden and even Heathen. I think I must have mentioned almost all speed/thrash bands that count in the history of thrash.

If you are looking for one of the first nice thrash albums of 2014 and don't mind the lack originality, then you've found a nice piece here!
