This Danish band consists of rather young members and has only released one EP called 'Face the Sun' prior to this. For a debut album this 'Echoes of Pain' isn't bad, but not good enough either. The songs have nothing special and sound all a bit the same. The music sounds like a mix of Slayer riffs with a ProPain hardcore attitude. On top of that the production could have been heavier in my opinion.

Another point is the vocals of Dennis Ullehus, after 2 songs they start to bore me and if you compare them with a lot of other thrash frontmen he sounds below average. Every now and then you hear that they are inspired by 90's death metal also, but it all sounds a little bit too forced if you ask me. This young band has quite a few steps to take, if they want to make a difference in the thrash scene, for now I find them a nice band to play in the local clubs and I'm sure the crowd will enjoy them and have a good night, but that is it at the moment.
