The controversial American
patriot, guitarist, singer and hunter
Ted Nugent, is an multi-artist who has
strong opinions that can be perceived as
extremely radical, sometimes for fun,
sometimes deadly serious, the opinions
diverse! 'Uncle Ted' is a man that seems
to have energy in maximum overflow and
he is the best frontman a band can wish for.
However, we are offered two live
albums from the great axeman. Armoury
Records re-releases 'Motor City Mayhem',
which was recorded in Detroit on
Independence Day in 2008, and it
marked Ted Nugent's 6,000th concert,
after 40-plus years performing
professionally! That averages about 140
shows per year since he first started
touring regularly with The Amboy Dukes
back in 1967. 'Motor City Mayhem' was
released in 2009. The second disc
'Sweden Rocks' was of course recorded at
Sweden Rock Festival 2008 and was
released the same year.
Anyhow, he give us an impressive
tracklist on both of these albums and I
was personally present on the Sweden
Rock consort in 2008; it was a hot
summer day and the madman was in a great
mood. Ted is a true American rock n roll
artist and he's delivering a spectacular live
show every time he enters the stage. His guitar
skills are
amazing and his machine gun mouth is
very entertaining.
If you don't have these two
albums in your Ted Nugent collection,
this is a nice offer.
