Death metal, thrash, melodic rock parts, nu metal and hardcore is the potpourri of styles on this album. Screaming, grunting, clean singing all these singing styles pass by. This sixtet with 3 guitarplayers on the pay role and with Nathan Gray (Boysetsfire) on vocals sure know what they are doing. Often a mix of so many styles changes into a mess and you can't make a head or tail of it, but this time it works.

A lot of songs start rather dramatic, but then change into hardcore style kind of songs. Most of the songs are rather up tempo, but  with quite a lot clean singing melodic pieces. Some of you will sure recognize parts that could have been on a Boysetsfire record, but as a whole the band sure is different. The hardcore parts remind sometimes of a band like Integrity, while the more thrash/metalcore pieces make me think of a band like Killswitch Engage.

This is an album with several faces and if you like variety, you will like this, I think. They convinced me.
