When I receive an album of a band hailing from my own provence, I of course need to review it. In this case it isn't a punishment at all because it is a good album. After releasing a MCD called 'In Pain There Is Life...'' in 2012, this is their debut CD.

The music on this album sounds already very mature and is well produced. Vocalist Evil D has an aggressive voice and he sounds like a combination of grunting with a hardcore kind of approach. That combination is also recognizable in the music. Swampy death metal reminding of Obituary, Asphyx and some old school Swedish bands like Entombed, Dismember etc. In the info they also mention a band like Crowbar and I understand why. With only 8 short songs I wouldn't call this a full length album, because it ends before you know it. Perhaps the short songs are a left-over of their hardcore roots, one thing is sure though, the songs don't get boring.

This really asks for more because the music isn't inferior to most of the albums in the same genre.
