The third album by this Swedish band and one with a nice filthy roaring guitar sound. The music is based on old school death metal and if I have to describe their music I would say that they mix old Celtic Frost with Motörhead, Discharge and Entombed.

The vocals of Jonas Stalhammar (ex Macabre) are raspy and aggressive and stick to this music. There is a certain variety in tempo, every now and then the faster tracks are varied by slower ones like for example "Cadaverborn". The sixth track "Crawlind Wind/The Tyrant Embryo" isn't a real song, but an over 4 minute long unnecessarry sound excerpt. Fortunately the next song "Atomic Temples" compensates this in old school Celtic Frost style. Not the best album I listened to this year, but certainly one that I can appreciate.

There is nothing wrong with this D-beat kind of punk influenced death metal.
