Tracedawn is a Finnish melodic death metal band. They have already released three full length albums. Early 2012 they released their third album called 'Lizard Dusk'. They decided to put four songs of that album on this EP in an acoustic version. At first I wasn't aware of that, so when I put on this EP I was very surprised, but also a little disappointed. I expected four heavy tracks, but when I looked closer I realized that the titles of the songs on this album sounded very familiar. In general I am not a fan of other versions, but I have to admit the songs are executed well and the vocals are nice. I don't know what they want to prove or win by releasing this EP, but perhaps there are fans who really like this. I prefer the original songs instead. | ||||||||||||||||||
