A month before the release of their new album 'Nemesis', this EP with the single "Unbreakable" is in stores. The other four tracks are re-mastered ones from their earlier albums 'Polaris', 'Elysium'', 'infinite' and 'Intermission'. I have my doubts if EP's like this are a commercial success? Sure, the first track can awaken your curiosity about the new album, but who's going to buy it? The new song will be on the album and the other four, any real Stratovarius fan already has in their possession. The new song 'Unbreakable' sounds like Stratovarius from start to finish. Catchy neo-classical power metal with a rather poppy refrain. I hope that there will be a few heavier tracks on the new album also, otherwise it might be a little too cheesy. | ||||||||||||||||||
