The Swedish stoner/garage rock duo Shit The Cow has released a new EP. Their first disc 'Volume/Cow' is from 2011. The same odd and unique rock style with a crazy blend of punk/garage/stoner rock 'n' roll on this disc like on the first one. 'Salt of the Earth' opens with the groovy rock tune; 'The Decline of Western Civilization'.

Very down to earth and old school 70's throw-back rock is served in the second track '123 Boom'. 'Monte Carlo' is more of a Joy Division kind of track in the melancholic style. A full blooded punk rock song called 'More Apologies' ends their four track EP.  Scrap yard rock is a quite good name for their rock style.

If you like the dusty garage punk rock, this may be something for you. I'm not exactly the right target group, but they deserves a contract with a record label anyway. This is not something that you listen on the radio everyday. Keep the flame alive guys...

Shit The Cow is:
Peter Söderberg - vocals and guitar,
Daniel Kjellberg - guitar and bass, Erik Rosenberg - guitar and bass and Robin Lindqvist on drums.
