Fine tuned melodic rock with similar
sound like Foregnier, Journey and Boston, but
this band hails from Brazil and N.O.W is the band, which
has packed this musical candy box. Alec Mendonça is the
strong hand in this project. With a very gifted
vocalist named Philip Bardowell this is a true
ear-fest to me, because this sounds very pleasant and
far from the heavy south American metal. This is
very melodic and very much in the US hard rock
genre. Clean, neat and very genuine written songs
that create a pleasant 50 minutes with both
something to attract the demanding fans in the genre
and the average rock listeners. Universal melodic rock that is equally suitable in US, Asia, Scandinavia or in the rest of the world. As you can believe this isn't something for the death/thrash metal fans. I find this album quite exciting and thrilling with it's wide spectra of instruments involved, and very strong vocals performance on all tracks. All the ten tracks are well written and each song has it's own soul. There are some small deductions that disables a higher overall rating from me. But my thumbs are up. A nice album... Line-up: |
