First the positive: Technically adept, this German lot play well and also throw a decent punch of relentless death metal, inspired it would seem by death metal peers from both sides of the Atlantic. Take for example the song I like the best here, the tune Digital Pride that is carried forward by an excellent rocking riff. There are nice interludes and intros scattered across the album, which is also fine. Lastly, the incorporation of the System Of A Down song Deer Song (from Toxicity) into the song Hirschtanz is an interesting move as well as very intertaining!

On the downside of things, the sound of 'Undead Soil' is a tad muddy and in effect not very well-defined. The song writing overall is not supreme and together with the constant bellowing of front man Schorsch makes the whole outcome slightly monotonous.
