In short: this a solid heavy metal album for fans of bands like Saxon, Talisman, Pretty Maids and Pink Cream 69. Everything on this album is rock solid; the technical level, the song writing, the production, the vocals and everything imaginable...

And that's just it, nothing really stands out, but on the other hand; nothing falls short either... Black Rose was formed all the way back in 1990, and it shows in their style. They have their roots solid planted in the 80s, and they stay on the path chosen throughout the album. The result is that it does become a bit stale and predictable in the long run.

I wish I could point out a song that stands out, but I can't, they are all at the same level, which is as much a positive as a negative. But if you do like the bands mentioned above then I suggest you give this one a spin or two...
