Alice Cooper
Dragontown - Re-release

'Dragontown' is the 22nd studio album by Alice Cooper which was released in 2001. Like 'Brutal Planet', this album displays a heavier rock side than many of his previous releases. 'Dragontown' is the sequel of 'Brutal Planet' from 2000. Lyrically, it's a concept album that deals with themes of darkness and evil.

I'm not so impressed by this re-release, because nothing new is added for the fans in comparison to the original recording and if you (against the odds) already have this disc in your possession you don't have to read any further. I don't get why they try to put this disc on the market again, because it didn't get in the charts the first time and probably won't this time either.

I found 'Brutal Planet' more refreshing and exciting than this disc. This is an album that do not have a place on today's metal market. This is only recommendable for the true Alice Cooper fans that have one album missing in their collection. This is not the golden episode in his career and he have (made) far better albums that deserves a re-release.
