Blackened death thrash from Poland? Grim stuff, you might think. Yeah, you're right. It's brutal and very old-school. There's a fair amount of brilliant although not new riffing here and there, and I can't help thinking Morbid Angel from time to time. All that is well.

What speaks against Stillborn is the tendency for songs to sound terribly much the same across the entire album. Evil tongues would probably also say that one or two of the compositions are slightly chaotic in a way that isn't really cool (Whore of the Whores is the prime example).

All in all a decent effort, but not without flaws. My reference track would be Blood and Dust, the most diverse and therefore interesting tune of the album.
