Four intense tracks from this Swedish band with the quite odd name 'Shit the Cow', which is their debut EP. Shit the Cow is Peter Söderberg - vocals and guitar and Daniel Kjellberg on guitar and bass. Dusty, rusty rock 'n' roll with a punk attitude in a modern Iggy Pop style. The guys in the band seem to have role models from the 70's. Very basic guitars and naked drums in a lame production, but with a strong will to make something own and stylish. In a blend of indie/pop rock and party rock. Danko Jones, Queens of the Stone Age and such bands are quite similar in the sound. These four tracks sound quite promising and maybe there is a big label that is interested putting some dollars to make a future for this little project? Here is the Spotify link. |
