This one hits right into the old-school vein. Not quite as obviously awesome at copying the crossover thrash genre of the mid to late eighties as their Swedish colleagues in Dr. Living Dead, German Septic Christ still make a very decent stab at it. Do not expect these Germans to copy kraut thrash metal of the eighties - their sound and style comes from across the Atlantic.

Head keeps nodding and one foot is constantly tapping when listening to 'Guilty As We Were Born'. It's got the ol' thrash groove of yonder years. Slayer, Overkill, M.O.D., Anthrax and D.R.I. can all be found in the hardboiled brew and the ethos is one of political awareness like some of the bands we remember from the heyday of thrash metal. The sound is in place and the band plays it tight. Recommended listening for thrash heads!

Particularly recommended tracks: Screwed and Ill (excellent flow), Exile the Leaders (killer riffs!) and Yearning for Salvation (nice clean intro which explodes into a blast of thrash energy).
