Raven Tide from Italy is a female fronted gothic metal bands that ventures down lanes driven so many times that it is almost impossible to stand out.

And they don't, their music is well written and played and vocalist Carlotta "Cheryl" Cimelli has a fine set of pipes. But that is simply not enough to make a stir in today's crowded metal marked.

It's all been said and done a million times before and with a much better results - they even manage to pick the cover version of Madonna's "Frozen" apart and make it sound blend...

Not much to take from this release I am afraid; mediocrity is the word!
