No doubt about it, the members of this French band know how to play their instruments; tight, technical and with perfection. Their style of music is a mix of technical death, thrash and math core. Many tempo/rhythm changes, but sometimes I cannot make head or tail of it. That is the biggest problem with Outcast, they forgot to write well arranged songs.

You can show how technical skilled you are, but if the songs are just not good enough, the songs will not stick. The members have loads of good ideas and creativity is something they have too, but that is not enough. The other weak point is the vocals, they are not special enough, too average to make a difference.

If you decide to play this genre in which Textures, Meshuggah and Hacride have set the standard high, this album just doesn't have it. I recommend them; spend more time in writing good songs, because the talent is there, that's for certain.
