There is so much spite in this old geezer!

More than twenty years and eleven albums down the line, Paul Speckmann has delivered an album which in my view is the best Master album so far. 'The New Elite' holds a ton of anger in it, which admittedly isn't a new thing for Master, but in a way they haven't before, the songs are more whole and, well, just better than they used to be.

Master in my view never QUITE hit the target, but I have a feeling that the time is now for Speckmann. The sound is there, the power is there, and the anger is certainly there.

Normally I'm not a fan of neither thrash nor death metal which has a too obvious punk edge, but in this case I have to admit that it works like a charm. Ur-death metal with tons of thrashy riffs. Aggression and power, aggression and power, my friends. Go check it out.
