Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Redeemer, yes the Lamb of God is back. With 'Wrath' they made quite an impression on me and I was not the only one. The new album 'Resolution' picks up where they left us with 'Wrath'. Raw, aggressive, heavy riffs, hammering drums, pounding songs completed by furious and raging vocals. Elements that were on the predecessor, but even more developed on this new album.

The songs sound very heavy and sometimes have heavy guitar riffs in them reminding a bit of Black Sabbath. Again the album breaths out a kind of live atmosphere and I am certain that lots of new songs will create big mosh pits. Their musical mix of Pantera and Slayer converted into Lamb Of God songs shows again that the band haven't reach their prime yet. If they continue to be creative like this, they will still be around releasing records when I'm old and fat. Metal heads, who liked 'Wrath' better than 'Sacrament' will be pleased with the fact that they have kept the direction.

Never change a winning team!
