Everybody happy??? Yeahhh! After the first 2 songs this is a question you can ask. Freedom Call sounds in a lot of songs like an even happier version of Helloween. If you think Helloween already sounds a little bit too happy and wimpy, you can skip Freedom Call. Every now and then a record like this is good for me. If you are a little depressed or stressed out, playing this album works better than anti depressives - you don't need a doctor no more. If you still don't have a smile on your face after playing this record, you are probably lost for ever.

We received the version with 14 songs, but if you buy the digi pack, you get six songs extra, songs of Freedom Call played by bands like Powerworld, Downspirit, Neonfly, Secret Sphere, Manimal and Kissin 'Dynamite. Predecessor 'Legend of the Shadowking' sounded a bit darker than this new album. "Sun in the Dark" and "Killer Gear" are songs that sound a little darker, the rest has a large sing-a-long atmosphere. With the track "Eternity" there is of course a more sensitive track too, a tender song with piano parts.

These Germans have created a new genre in metal land. I baptize their style as: Sweet Metal. So if you have a sweet tooth, buy some Freedom Call candy!

Don't worry, be happy!
