Memo to Brad: "The grunge scene has died, only survivor: Pearl Jam", I think they must have missed out on the memo, so now we all have to deal with their fifth album "United We Stand".

Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam), Shawn Smith (Pigeonhed), Regan Hagar (Satchel) and Keith Love are all known names to the Seattle rock scene and they have had Brad running simultaneously to their other obligations for almost two decades, staying true to their rock roots and releasing albums that prove that.

But the scene died for a reason; the need for depressive rock songs vanished and people moved on and other scenes took over. So where does that leave a band like Brad? Well, the best they can hope for is that the strong Pearl Jam fan-base pick up on them, for the rest of us... well I rather put on an old Nirvana or Pearl Jam album if I want to hear some grunge.

This brings absolutely nothing new to the scene and doesn't move me in any way at all...!

Next please.
