I don't know why I do this to myself? Every release Visions of Atlantis bring out I get very excited about because they could offer so much, and every time I get so disappointed, "Maria Magdalena" follows this trend. This little 6 track EP contains 4 brand new tracks & 2 re-reordered tracks featuring new vocalist Maxi Nil. "Maria Magdalena" is musical good, fast bombastic & heavy. But there is always something missing with Visions of Atlantis that knocks out punch. I have come to the conclusion that Mario Plank, male vocalist is the problem. Maybe he should hand over all the singing duties to Maxi because when she does sing it is very enjoyable. For the die hard fans only. | ||||||||||||||||||
