These Germans made an album that will please every death metalcore fan. The combination of death metal riffs with hardcore elements isn't new, but they do it in a very interesting way. They combine low grunting (sometimes guttural) vocals with higher hardcore screaming ones, but they do it very confident and it works out well. The track "My Bitterness" starts like a doom song, but then the normal speed gets back.

There are more elements in their style, in "Perfection" you hear grindcore parts, in "Awaken" thrashy riffs and in "My Poison" even clean singing! The use of different elements from several styles brings in a lot of variety. Fans of many bands can be pleased with this album, but in general it is just plain heavy and brutal. Fans of Caliban, God Forbid and everything between Suicide Silence and Hatebreed should take a listen.
