With every new album, Nucleus Torn open new vistas of sound in the realm of avant-garde rock music. We are talking of a musical project that has grown out of dimensions. This is no surprise when one knows that Nucleus Torn (Switzerland) is led by Fredy Schnyder, who, not unusually, takes in use about twenty instruments. Andromeda Awaiting, Nucleus Torn's third full-length album, is an ethereal work of progressive rock clearly inspired by medieval music, and sometimes jazz and oriental melodies. All is mellow and dreamy, yet never monotonous.
