These 4 gentlemen don't need a long and detailed presentation. Mötley Crüe is one of the most famous rock bands in the history and everybody has an opinion about them. Most of the bands members have lately been more famous for other things than their musical efforts. Why should anyone buy this album? The 19 tracks long album is a time travel back to some of the 80s best rock songs and the only track I miss is "Live Wire". I was hoping that they would gather energy and write something new, because "Saints of Los Angeles "(2008) is a proof that they still can write damn good rock songs. I love the oldies too, but my gosh, we will soon be writing 2012 and the competition is tough, so I find this kind of albums quite outdated, with the modern media we all have in our possesion nowadays it's easy to make your own best of or greatest hits folder. But still I finding it intresting in an other view and that's the progress from the puppy and youthful sound in the Vinces throat in beginning of their career and how his voice matures, the further down the tracklist we come. They survived a dissolute life, got together and tours all over the world again, and I have already bought my ticket to the Mötley Crüe show when they come to Europe in 2012. This albums is only for the true and genuine fans and the collectors of MC editions. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
