This is one of the things I love about this little spare time occupation of mine: When a band, completely out of the blue, sends me something that if not blows me away, then at least touches me with a dedication and talent that is so blatantly obvious that you just have to love it.
In this case the Italian four-piece Ignition Code sent me a CD a while back. I have to admit that the I listened to the CD without really listened when I received it, and that often creates a rather luke warm perception. But weeks have passed and I've now finally had the time to sit down and prioritise the listening. And it's a pleasure. Good, complicated, modern sounding song structures. Great energy and tight, the three songs of the promo sounds like a promise of more Mnemic/In Flames/Soilwork inspired music to flow from our Italian brother in metal.
