Since the release of 'Heralding - The Fireblade' back in 2005, the fans of Falkenbach has long awaited the out coming results of Markus Tümmers' (aka Vratyas Vakyas) epic innovations. In the course of 6 years, those whereabouts has lead to an album with seven (or eight if you got a copy with the bonus track) elongated tracks which he calls, 'Tiurida' (Glory).

Lengthy tracks indeed. It didn't occupy my mind for all those times in the least, but I feel as if the diligent ones have deserved more than what is presented. Don't they (in my strange  and enthusiastic opinion) well enough deserve some exceptional means in the bundle?

Having been a long time fan, I must say that Tiurida is for sure nothing unconventional from Falkenbach. Quite the usual, in fact. Simple and easily recognizable. I reckon a suggestive amount in the case of '...Where His Ravens Fly...' and 'In Flames'.

Some songs are proficient and less apprehensive than their usual, well-off, mid-tempo tunes. You know, that synoptic Falkenbach sound, the whole enchanting and bombastic aspect. It is a pick for those who are not bothered by their continuous dwelling on the safe zone.
