For fans of
Morbid Angel (hey, who isn't?!) and Immolation it might be an idea to keep an eye
on this young Danish band.
There's still a lot of work to be done in terms of creating a distinctive
personality and letting go of the too obvious influences. The tightness isn't
always present either, sadly. Unluckily, the band has included the lyrics of the
album, and it does not exactly display a big talent for lyricism; the lyrics for
Blood Fuck are toe-curlingly embarrassing.
That said, when you listen to the track Engrossing Act, where everything is spot on
and grooves like Salma Hayek's hips,
and you just know that this band is onto something bigger, given the time and
effort.
