Modern metal from New Zealand, but what is modern metal anyway? I came to the conclusion that you can expect many different things under the flag. The music on this album is heavy, very guitar rock based, has industrial influences, electronic parts and has dance sounds and rhythms. The vocals are rough, screaming and scraping, but not so convincing. It all sounds a bit forced.

For a debut album this is certainly not a bad effort, but the songs are not good enough yet. The songs "Crazyhorse", "Smother" and "Lost Soul Society" are the ones that can convince me the most, the other tracks don't get my piss boiling. I think I like these songs more because of the higher tempo and the little less industrial parts. Because this is not my cup of tea, I don't exactly know what to think about this album. There can be readers that will praise this band, but on the other hand I doubt that because of the lack of real quality songs. The only advice I will give you is to listen to songs on their MySpace and judge it yourselves.

Keywords for this album: Heavy, Industrial, pop-influenced, guitar based, electronic, dance, modern, mediocre, average.
