25 January, 2010 a young band from Norway called Aspera releases their debut called 'Ripples'. On the album was music in the vein of Pagan's Mind, Dream Theater, Symphony X and Shadow Gallery. The record is a success and they had the wind behind them. In 2010, another band called Aspera threatened them with legal action, prompting them to change their name. So Aspera became Above Symmetry.

So this isn't a new release or a new band, it is just a re-issue of music under a different name. A very logical move off course. As extra, the band added 3 bonus tracks and a Video-clip of 'Traces Inside'. For a complete review you can look up the Aspera review my colleague Kenn made back in January 2010 (rating: 90).

The world has to know: ASPERA IS NOW CALLED ABOVE SYMMETRY.

Norwegian band ASPERA = DEAD.

Long live ABOVE SYMMETRY, ABOVE SYMMETRY, ABOVE SYMMETRY, and ABOVE SYMMETRY.
