Recorded
while the Nelsonmania was on it's highest in 1991 and Matthew and Gunnar Nelson
were the talk of the town. Taking their world famous debut album out on the road
to showcase their music in front of capacity crowds everywhere they played. Just
looking at the bands opening for them; House of Lords, Tyketto, Enuff Z’nuff,
Cinderella and Lynch Mob makes you realize just how big they really were.
The
recording itself is frankly not that exciting, the solo parts are dull, the
performance is a bit untight but the young screaming teenage girls stand by
their men throughout the entire set and classics like "Can't Live Without Your)
Love and Affection" and the grand finale "Everywhere I Go" do work very well.
Even the sound could be better even for 1991s standard, but this is all about
re-creating the magic from the Nelsonmania.... Which they certainly will succeed
with for a few, but for most this will pass unnoticed.
This is the least exciting of the three Nelson releases we are presented
with these past months, and again this is only for true hardcore fans.
