When I reviewed Masterplan’s EP “Far From The End Of The World” just a few weeks ago I wasn't too impressed with what I heard and I hoped that the trend didn't follow onto "Time to Be King".

Well all fears of that happening were blasted away by "Fiddler of Time" such a great powerful song. And it makes my metal heart glow brightly when I hear Jorn Lande back singing for "Masterplan” it just fits like Dickinson & Iron Maiden... "Blow Your Winds" follows along the same path with a brilliant riff and great use of keyboards, which brings me to another point on "Time to Be King'. There are a lot of keys used on this album, but it just fits so nicely and sounds the part. "Far From the End of the World" sounds a lot better then it did on the EP, I don't know if it's because it precedes 2 great songs or not? The title track "Time to Be King" is in my opinion one of the greatest songs "Masterplan" has ever written. Just oozes brilliance and every part of this "Super Group" just shines on this track.

I could go on and on with praises for "Time to Be King" there is not one bad song on offer, but it's simple I you are a fan: buy it and if your not, still buy it anyway, you wont be disappointed. "Time to Be King" is pure Masterplan: epic and entertaining, from one of the best melodic power metal bands in the universe.

Highly Highly Recommended!
